Reporting to the Manager IT, the IT Executive (ITE) shall be responsible for:


(1) Performing routine PC maintenance and updates, assisting in software and hardware upgrades and maintaining internet services for performance efficiency;

(2) Ensuring IT systems are running effectively with minimal disturbance to the functioning of the company;

(3) Assisting with reports and data extraction. Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry;

(4) Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking outputs;

(5) Preparing and drafting reports concerning data findings;

(6) Provide technical assistance to office staff, as necessary.

(7) Supporting the team in developing and implementing user-training IT related programs;

(8) Ensuring timely planning of IT infrastructure requirements based on existing and future requirements at all levels of operations;

(9) Developing/ updating SAMS's website and providing capable end-user support to all users of systems, throughout the organization.





(1) Applicants must have a University degree in Information Technology, or Computer Applications, or Computer Science, from a recognized university/ institution.



Bachelor’s degree plus PG diploma in IT, or Computer Applications, or Computer Science, from a recognized university/ institution.




Applicants must have minimum of one year of prior experience in Information Technology.


Skills and Competencies:


(1) Proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.);
(2) Excellent understanding of data administration and management functions;

(3) Good analytical skills; Ability to understand user requirements;

(4) Ability to work under pressure and stringent timelines;
(5) Excellent listening and interpersonal skills;
(6) Maintaining high standards of quality and performance;
(7) Positive work attitude; Integrity and honesty; Desire to learn and value-add;

(8) Technical ability for setting-up and running systems;
(9) Ability to undertake travel, in the context of onsite projects;
(10) Thorough understanding of the technology environment, industry best practices and trends.




Gross compensation budgeted for the position ranges from Rs. 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience and salary history of the selected candidate.




Successful candidates shall be offered regular, full-time employment with SAMS, pursuant to successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
