Job Description

1. JOB TITLE: HR Interns- Recruitment, SAMS, New Delhi (Onsite; Two Vacancies)

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

HR Interns get excellent exposure to teamwork and cutting-edge recruitment practices followed by SAMS and India’s leading non-profit organizations. They are closely supervised and mentored and gain a strong orientation to the HR function, as well as grounding to recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
(1) Provide support in developing and executing search strategies for mid and senior level mandates awarded to the company, using a range of outreach, networking and research techniques;
(2) Help develop vacancy notices that attract the most relevant talent, interacting closely with Hiring/ HR Managers of the client organisation for the purpose;

(3) Help execute media and outreach strategy agreed with the client, comprising the positioning of vacancy announcements on suitable platforms encompassing job sites, professional groups, databases and social media;

(4) Help map and identify suitable talent across relevant organizations using proprietary research tools and databases subscribed to by SAMS;

(5) Help develop and apply sophisticated screening and assessment tools;

(7) Help screen/ shortlist eligible candidates;

(8) Coordinate the conduct of interviews, written tests, and other assessments.

4. ELIGIBILITY:

Qualifications: 

Applicants should be fresh graduates from reputed institutions, with good academic credentials.

Required Skills: 
(1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; 
(2) Demonstrated interpersonal and listening skills 
(2) Excellent client management skills 
(3) Maintaining high standards of quality and performance
(4) Ability to work under pressure and stringent timelines
(5) Ability to generate high quality reports and presentations 
(6) Positive work attitude; Integrity and honesty; Desire to learn and value-add
(7) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

5. STIPEND OFFERED:

The consolidated monthly stipend for HR Interns is Rs. 15,000 per month. Upon successful completion of the internship, an Internship Certificate and Letter of Recommendation will be awarded.

6. TENURE:

The HR Interns will be required to support SAMS’s on-going recruitment projects for the next three to six months. High-performing HR Interns may be offered regular positions with SAMS on the completion of internship.

7. LOCATION: New Friends Colony, New Delhi.
