1. POSITION VACANT: Program- Compliance Associate India, Smile Train India, New Delhi

3. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Program- Compliance Associate India (PCAI), shall be responsible for the following:

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

(1) Verify and maintain Treatment Eligibility Documentation for partner hospitals to ensure compliance with regulatory standards;

(2) Ensure compliance with specific donor requirements at partner hospitals;

(3) Ensure that partner hospitals are compliant with CSR laws and regulations;

(4) Collect compliance documents annually, such as Hospital Registration and MSME registration forms, banking and other KYC documents to maintain regulatory adherence;

(5) Disseminate changes and updates in Smile Train’s policies to the partner hospitals as needed, ensuring that partners apply current Smile Train policies and procedures;

(6) Manage and continually update the partner database to guarantee accuracy and completeness of information;

(7) Keep templates and forms up-to-date and easily accessible in a central location for convenient use;

(8) Centralize Safety Audit Reports, Financial Audit Reports, Partner Survey Reports, etc., for quick retrieval and reference;

(9) Handle requests and inquiries regarding new partnerships, professionals, and organizations promptly, ensuring accessibility;

(10) Generate necessary resources or reports to support the efficient operations of the Programs Team, as needed.

 

Key Projects or Priorities Driven by this Role:

(1) Streamline the compliance documentation collection process to enhance efficiency and accuracy;

(2) Implement a robust system for maintaining and updating the partner database to improve data management and analysis;

(3) Enhance the documentation verification process for Treatment Eligibility to ensure adherence to regulatory standards;

(4) Establish a comprehensive repository for templates and forms to facilitate easy access and utilization by team members;

(5) Develop customizable resources and reports to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders and projects;

(6) Ensure compliance with local CSR laws and specific donor requirements related to program reporting;

(7) Ensure that partners are compliant with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act concerning the Smile Train Project.

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualifications:

Applicants should have a Post Graduate/CA Inter/CS Inter/ LLB degree in a relevant field from a reputed institution, or someone with a legal and/or commerce background with a knack for understanding agreements, documentation, and internal controls.

 

Experience:
(1) Minimum five to seven years of relevant experience, preferably someone who has worked on CSR teams of corporate and/or non-profits;

(2) Candidates with CSR experience shall be preferred.

 

Skills:
(1) Strong strategic, analytical, and persuasive skills;

(2) Knowledge of India CSR laws and regulations;

(3) Ability to network and leverage contacts and connections;

(4) Ability to prioritize while working under multiple deadlines;

(5) Detail-oriented; ability to effectively collect, analyze, organize, distill and present information;

(6) Superior verbal and written communication skills; 

(7) Great customer service and interpersonal skills;

(8) Ability to maintain perspective and a sense of humour.

 

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

 

Gross annual compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that offers shall be commensurate with the qualifications, experience, and salary history of the selected candidate.
