Bal Raksha Bharat (BRB), also known as Save the Children, is India's leading independent child rights NGO, with operations in 15 states across the country. 3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Reporting to the Deputy Director- Individual Giving, the Manager – Individual Giving (New Initiative) (MIG) shall be responsible for driving fundraising initiatives through two key channels: Goodwill Ambassadors and MAC/Retail Fundraising. S/he will also be responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of Goodwill Ambassadors and fostering partnerships with MAC Teams nationwide, to ensure the effective execution of fundraising strategies.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Recruitment and Onboarding : Lead the identification, selection, and onboarding process of Goodwill Ambassadors, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals.
(2) Training and Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for both Goodwill Ambassadors and MAC Teams, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively fundraise
(3) Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate the performance of Goodwill Ambassadors and MAC Teams, providing ongoing support, feedback, and guidance to drive results.
(4) Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement fundraising strategies tailored to each channel, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize performance and achieve fundraising targets.
(5) Budget Management: Manage budgets allocated for individual fundraising activities, tracking expenditure and ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
(6) Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including management, marketing, and finance teams, to garner support and resources for fundraising initiatives.
(7) Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular MIS reports to track fundraising performance, analyze trends, and identify areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
(8) Incentive Programs: Design and launch incentive programs and rewards schemes to motivate and incentivize Goodwill Ambassadors and MAC Teams, driving engagement and performance.
(9) Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies governing fundraising activities, mitigating risks and safeguarding the organization's reputation.
(10) Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine fundraising strategies and processes, implementing best practices and innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualification:

Applicants should be a postgraduate in a relevant field from a recognized institute.

 

Experience:

(1) Applicants must have at least 7 years of experience in individual fundraising or similar roles, with a focus on commission-based models.

(2) Candidates with experience in customer-facing roles within retail banking, insurance, or e-commerce sectors, shall be preferred.

 

Essential Skills and Competencies

(1) Must have strong presentation and communication skills.
(2) Must have the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
(3) Should have analytical mindset with the ability to generate and interpret data.
(4) Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
(5) Must have strong organizational and project management skills

(6) Must have proficiency in MS Word/ MS Excel/ MS PowerPoint/ Outlook

 

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

 

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

 

6. LOCATION: Delhi, National Support Office

 

7. CONTRACT DURATION: This is a full-time position, and the initial fixed-term contract will be offered for a period of two years
