1. POSITION VACANT: Manager Operations, Leading CSR Foundation, Bengaluru

Our client works with credible institutions, non-government organisations, government agencies and domain experts to execute the social initiatives.

 

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Manager Operations (MO) shall be responsible for managing the implementation of the organization’s projects in the state of Karnataka.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

 

(A) Program Management

(1) Discover and evaluate projects and partners that match the organization’s priority areas for program expansion;

(2) Oversee project and grant management from inception to completion, adhering to the processes and procedures outlined in the operations manual and financial guidelines;

(3) Follow established operational and financial procedures to form new partnerships and launch new projects. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed within the defined time frame as per the operations manual;

 

(B) Program Monitoring

(1) Carry out monthly visits to all projects to evaluate progress against the targets, identify and report any existing or potential program, financial, or compliance-related deficiencies, and assess the overall health of the organization/ project, flagging any issues;

(2) Work closely with the organization’s departments and partners to address any identified gaps and recommend appropriate action plans;

(3) Identify and engage with key local stakeholders;

 

(C) Drive Cross-Functional Alignment

(1) Engage with Finance, Legal, and Communications teams as needed to ensure projects are aligned with organizational requirements and objectives;

(2) Conduct regular CSR update meetings with senior management to keep them informed of key project developments and solicit their feedback to enhance project outcomes;

(3) Represent the organization at meetings/ events and new employee inductions to provide updates on the status of community initiatives.

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualification

(1) Applicants must have a Postgraduate or master’s degree in social work, rural development or relevant discipline from a reputed institutes;

 

Relevant Experience:

(1) Minimum 10 years of work experience in the social sector, preferably in the area of public health, education, environment and rural development;

(2) Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in Corporate Foundations and manufacturing unit locations. A clear understanding of CSR regulations and compliance requirements is also required;

(3) Strong understanding and experience with grassroots issues and community-level work in the areas of health, education, and other development themes.

 

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
(1) Excellent oral and written communication in English;

(2) Strong working ability on power point, excel and data platforms.

(3) Strong interpersonal, communication and liaising skills;

(4) Operational, coordination and organising skills.

 

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

 

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.
