3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Reporting to the Head - Brand & Engagement, the Manager - Web & Social Media shall be responsible for creating impactful content aligned with BRB’s strategic Brand objectives to communicate with the external world effectively. S/he will support the implementation of the Content Management Plan, for which content is generated from the Programme Units and the National Support Office. The key responsibilities include website content management, content marketing, managing quality of traffic on website and planning and executing the website marketing calendar.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

(1) Day-to-day social media content creation, management and optimization for consolidating the BRB brand, drive user action (in the form of engagement), build awareness and bolster fundraising efforts, Online Reputation Management (ORM) on social media. At the same time, also prepare comprehensive performance reports of the work done;
(2) Providing communication and strategic support to the individual fundraising team to bolster fundraising, plan and execute large-scale fundraising campaigns for digital platforms and provide strategic and communication support to the donor support and face-to-face fundraising team;
(3) Partnering, networking and coordinating robustly with various teams within the organization (programmes, partnerships, on-ground teams, etc.) and stakeholders in the organization to source and curate information and prepare content and communication, providing comms and creative support to teams, support with events and report launches and formulating joint campaigns and support with other forms of long-form content requirement;
(4) Going to the organization’s project locations in various parts of the country to source material in the form of case stories, videos, images, interviews, etc. The material sourced will need to be processed into fit-to-publish content;

(5) Regular coordination with the digital agency on SEO, fundraising campaigns and other brand awareness aspects;
(6) Develop, review and upload content on Bal Raksha Bharat’s website in consultation with internal stakeholders, working in conjunction with the communication team that generates content for internal and external use. Time-to-time optimization of the content, curating and editing of case stories, upkeep of the homepage;
(7) Overall support in terms of SEO planning and content reviewing, regular coordination with the SEO writer (external) for production of large-scale SEO content;
(8) Special Initiatives and Campaigns: Working on high-level special initiatives, whether it’s influencer fundraising or forging external partnerships with reputable platforms, tapping fundraising opportunities;
(9) Budget management, reconciliation of team’s expenses and invoices, making online purchases, storekeeping of crucial data and credentials, basic MIS and analytics.

 

The duties and responsibilities as set out above are not exhaustive and the job holder may be required to carry out additional duties within reasonableness of their level of skills and experience.

 

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES:

 

Qualification:

(1) Applicants should have a Postgraduate or equivalent degree from a reputed university in Mass Communication or Marketing or English Literature;
(2) An additional course in Digital Marketing or Marketing will be preferred

 

Experience:

(1) Minimum seven years of relevant experience in the branding, advertising, digital marketing, mass communication space;

(2) Experience in the development sector will be preferred.

 

Essential Skills and Competencies:

(1) Extremely thorough with MS Office Suite;

(2) Well-versed with new-age digital marketing tools like social listening tools, Google Analytics, Ads Manager, etc.;
(3) Analytical bent of mind with a knack for problem solving.

 

5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:

 

Gross compensation budgeted for the position is attractive. Please note that the offer made to the selected candidates shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.

 

6. LOCATION: New Delhi (National Support Office)

 

7. CONTACT DURATION: This is a full-time position and the initial, fixed-term contract offered will be for a period of two years.

 

8. TRAVEL: The role will also involve some amount of travel every year.
